The 1950s saw the emergence of hair product manufacturing industry in
Japan. The social development is accompanied by the gradual increase in
the labor costs and shortage of the raw material of human hair. As a result,
the hair product manufacturing industry gradually transfers to Hong Kong,
China, a region boasts low labor forces and the raw materials of human hair.
At the beginning of the 1960s, as America restricts the import of hair products
from China, the production and manufacturing base of hair products has to be
transferred. Korea became the optimal choice at that time.
